Here is the second part of our interview with the team “parallel kingdom”, which focuses on the technical and plan of “Parallel Kingdom”.
- Does the game require a permanent connection to the Internet on mobile?
Currently, yes. Parallel Kingdom is a real-time, interactive role playing game and interacting with other players requires a connection to the internet.
GPS is not required, but some type of location position system is. It could use a WiFi positioning system (like the update to the iPhone) or it the cellular position service if the cellular network is capable.
Android has a great mission one open operating system for every cell phone in the world, which is absolutely great for application developers and mobile companies. At the same time, I can’t rule out other platform deployments.
Open Beta you can expect by Q4 2008. You can stay up to date at our website.
Parallel Kingdom will be a global game. We are currently considering locations for the initial launch, so start collecting friends to ensure Parallel Kingdom comes to your region first!
